No problem, I think this one has been in tree long enough :) Only cddb or also gnustep-apps/cdplayer with it? Anyway, ack from me

Adding arches, thanks in advance

2011-03-26 10:56:13.654 CDPlayer[31861] Failed to get Cddb.bundle from /usr/GNUstep/Local/Library/Bundles/Cddb.bundle
(real path is withouth Local)

Although this is probably not a cddb problem, but a cdplayer problem, it does make testing cddb hard.
Comment 4 Bernard Cafarelli gentoo-dev 2011-03-28 12:57:06 UTC
I never had this one... CDPlayer gets the paths from gnustep environment, but here it looks like it picks the default (/usr/GNUstep/Local).

Christoph, was it your first gnustep package install? This could be caused by CDPlayer looking for some GNUstep environment variable, unset on a first install until you log in again (just a theory)
Comment 5 Christoph Mende (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-03-29 09:23:21 UTC
Well no, that was not my real problem, I just found out.
CDPlayer tries several paths (/home/${USER}, /usr/GNUstep/Local and /usr/GNUstep), the third one succeeded here, but it never said that it succeeded, so I though it was failing, since the track listing was still empty.
I just stabilized cddb on amd64. I have no idea how to test CDPlayer though, guess there's some configuration I have to make, currently it just says "No CD".
