bumped, thanks - what happened to the mysql use flag in newdepend? Also, it looks like kbarcode supports postgresql and sqlite, so perhaps adding some more use flags for those for 1.6.0 final would be a good idea (just thinking out loud here).
should resolve it
>Requirements: >* KDE 3.x >* GnuBarcode (RunTime) >* TBarcode(RunTime) <- commercial barcode engine >* ImageMackick (RunTime) >* Qt SQL Tools (optional) The usage of sql dbs depends only on qt, so if qt is compiled +mysql you have mysql support and otherwise not. The mysql dependency is pretty useless here. Another one: You wrote in 32342#c2 that Portage would compile multiple tarballs and install them automatically. This doesn't happen here. kfile_kbarcode-0.1 gets unpacked but not installed. Is it a bug in Portage 2.0.49-r15 or were you wrong?
1.6.0 stable is out
hmm, guess i was mistaken. in my opinion it *should* do this though. anyway, bumped ebuild, changed deps back, and added some code to handle the compilation of both kbarcode and the kfile extension. should work now.
