Ekiga 2.0.12 won't emerge on my Gentoo x64 system.

The build log is littered with "error: template with C linkage" and "error: template specialization with C linkage".

The end of the log looks like this:

Same problem. I have sys-devel/gcc-4.4.5 and sys-libs/glibc-2.11.3.

I have the same problem on SPARC with ekiga 2.0.12 and sys-devel/gcc-4.4.5.

The bug is in gmcontacts-eds.cpp:

#include <string.h>  // <--- Line 39

extern "C" {

#include <libebook/e-book.h>

}

libebook/e-book.h in turn includes C++ headers which then break because of C linkage. Just removing the extern "C" { and it's corresponding } fixed the bug for me.

net-voip/ekiga-3.9.90 is in the tree now, I dont see such behavior. Please reopen if the issue is still there.
