xf86-video-ati-9999 from x11 overlat fails to build when xorg-server is built WITH minimal use flag (i remember that it wasn't possible to build xorg-server with minimal flag as portage complained about that before). If i build xorg-server with minimal flag then xf86-video-ati fails building with dri.h not found.

Yeah, I don't like the minimal use flag for precisely reasons like this.

USE="minimal" and dri don't mix

So how to deal with that? Modify ebuild or something? I must add that after i compiled xorg-server with USE="-minimal" then xf86-video-ati built without any problems. Also, if xorg-server is built with minimal then building xf86-video-ati with USE="-dri" doesn't help and it still fails.

This is already handled correctly and the deps are managed by xorg-2 eclass.
