hi, hold on for just a while -- I'll put vcron back in the tree (emerge -k vcron after you emerge sync)

Hi,

We recently moved vcron -> vixie-cron but forgot that the GRP packages on the installation CDs (and the Portage snapshots) will still be using vcron. We have updated the documentation to reflect this.

as of now, vcron and vixie-cron are both in the tree
vcron will get removed over time I suppose in the following months

Probably I will wait until june 2004 to completely purge vcron out of portage.

Okay; well, the installation documents will use vixie-cron where possible but include a note about vcron where applicable. I hope the 2004 release will use vixie-cron as GRP package (?)
