The project manpages-de provides German translations of manpages and has recently been revived. It now has a new home, so you might want to point the ebuilds of app-i18n/man-pages-de to that: <http://alioth.debian.org/projects/manpages-de/> Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
I'm working on this but I'd like to find a better URL source than https://alioth.debian.org/frs/download.php/3463/manpages-de-0.7.tar.bz2 for this ebuild.
Tobias, can you control the URL for the files? If so, can you offer a "constant" URL that on each package update will only change the package-version part? If you also could, we would prefer a HTTP URL. To explain better, I notice that you have the following URLs in alioth: https://alioth.debian.org/frs/download.php/3463/manpages-de-0.7.tar.bz2 https://alioth.debian.org/frs/download.php/3384/manpages-de-0.6.tar.bz2 You have one number in the URL that has no connection to the package version and that will force us to check your site and update manually every time you release a new version. We'd prefer to have URLs similar to the following: .../<pkg>/<version-source> .../<pkg-version-source> .../<pkg>/<version>/<source> This type of URLs allows us just to copy the ebuild for the old version and update as required by packages changes without having to worry about SRC_URI.
Hi Jorge, thanks for taking care of this bug. Here's the new download URL you've requested: <http://manpages-de.alioth.debian.org/downloads/> HTH, Tobias

Thank you for stepping up and maintain this package and for poking us about it. I've just committed versions 0.7 and 0.8 into the tree. As I don't use a german locale, I'd appreciate some feedback about the bump.
