Run python-updater.
python-updater decided to emerge 3 packages dev-libs/boost:0 dev-libs/boost:1.41 x11-libs/vte:0, but failed to do it by itself due to blocks I emerged the 3 packages, sending only 3 new bugreports to bugs.gentoo.org However, nothing seems to change: /usr/bin/nosetests-2.6 still does not exist, and sphinx emerge fails in exactly same way I reopen the bug
Good news! Upgrading dev-python/nose solved the problem I suggest adding dependancy >=dev-python/nose-1.0.0 to sphinx-1.0.7 ebuild I leave bug status unchanged

Xfce 4.4 is free from this defect. New versions of gcc are completely insane (-O3 or -mfpmath=both results in wrong code), i wish i kept 4.1 or 3.* New software is not necessarily better than old. Old bugs get fixed, new bugs appear. I control multiple Gentoo computers, with different versions of software. If a bug hurts me, I look for a version which suits me best. Upgrading on every upgrade is Windoz approach (ah, you are not running our latest service pack? go away and patch yourself). I hope Gentoo is different
