Description Tobias Leupold 2011-02-19 14:24:30 UTC
Here are two ebuilds (amd64 and x86) for Brother's brscan3 driver. I use them to scan with a Brother MFC-7440N printer/scanner/fax. Probably not a really clean way to do it, but at least, one can install the software via portage with them ;-)

Reproducible: Always

It is not necessary to make two different ebuilds. You can use arch conditionals in SRC_URI, see http://devmanual.gentoo.org/ebuild-writing/variables/index.html

I think this is definitely superseded by the Brother overlay and can thus be closed for sure.
