poppler 0.14.5 includes the poppler-bindings and gives a file collision when being merged with poppler-bindings installed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. have poppler bindings installed 2. emerge poppler-0.14.5 Expected Results: poppler 0.14.5 should block on or uninstall poppler-bindings This might be a corner case since I'm updating a rather badly out-of-date system (last updated in 2006) but I saw it mentioned at least once in the forums so decided to report it anyway.
app-text/poppler-bindings was removed from the tree a year ago[1]. It's only to be expected that current ebuilds do not block packages that have been removed, so no attempt has been made to block against non-existent file collisions.
