net-wireless/ndiswrapper-1.56 fails compilation under 2.6.38*.
The version from https://ndiswrapper.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/ndiswrapper/trunk/ndiswrapper/ works properly.

As a temporary solution is the ndiswrapper-9999.ebuild from bug 342159

I've imported the patch from upstream, please give the rsync servers at least one hour to sync to cvs and try again.
