I must say, I don't agree with you at all. This is (a) a known bug. libvpx will currently not work on x86 with -mmx and sse flags; (b) setting this to high priority is not appropriate. libvpx is not system relevant (though required for chromium). Sorry, but in my opinion this bug report is not helpful.
If it does not work with -mmx and sse flags, then the ebuild should be fixed to disallow this combination.
Well , i've figured out the problem. It's because some #define constants in vpx_config.h was generated twice. a quick solution is to modify src_configure() and add such things: sort vpx_config.h | uniq > temp_vpx_config.h mv temp_vpx_config.h vpx_config.h
