Description Stephan Kupfer 2011-02-07 17:32:47 UTC
Hi,
i'm the admin of rsync13.de.

I upgraded my hardware and also got a new IP.
Can someone please change the acls on masterportage.gentoo.org to my new ip?

old ip: 212.227.96.139
old v6ip: 2001:8d8:80:11::34d

new ip: 87.106.218.149
new v6ip: is comming in the next days...

new hardware is an AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1055T Processor with 6 x 2,8 Ghz and 8Gig of RAM.
The portage data is in ram on tmpfs. :)

I already set up the rsync, it syncs every 30min from my old server. After the ACLs were changed i start syncing from masterportage every 30min again.

Thx

Stephan

Reproducible: Always

Please modify the A record for rsync13.de (and the associated entry in rsync.de and rsync.europe [but don't add the AAAA to europe] )
Comment 6 Stephan Kupfer 2011-02-22 15:51:55 UTC
Ok, i changed the SRC line back to:

SRC="rsync://rsync1.us.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage"

From my side the server is ready to change the A in the rsync13.de...

Thx

Please use masterportage.gentoo.org instead of rsync1.us.gentoo.org.

A record done.
Jeremy, shall I remove the AAAA for now?
Comment 9 Stephan Kupfer 2011-02-23 11:22:12 UTC
changed to masterportage.gentoo.org

Someone should edit the ebuild files with the new masterportage record. :)

No, AAAA has not been updated. It's still the old.
Shall I remove the old AAAA for now? Is it still in use or got a new v6 ip already?
Comment 12 Stephan Kupfer 2011-02-24 08:35:29 UTC
The AAAA record is still the old one, right!
You don't have to edit anything, nothing changed with the IPv6 address.
