Crash upon startup for 32bit machines when checking for 32bit machines. fixed in upstream but no patch in portage. http://cgit.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/commit/?id=4b022ed32bb3d729fd21d2e33483fda03c6a6333 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. `emerge networkmanager` on a 32bit machine (for example, x86) 2. reboot Actual Results: networkmanager crashs and stucks the booting process. Expected Results: networkmanager doesn't crash.
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/snapshot/NetworkManager-0.8.2.tar.bz2 contains necessary files but http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/NetworkManager/0.8/NetworkManager-0.8.2.tar.bz2 doesn't. The two archives have too much difference so I'll remove the testing part of ifnet plug-in for this version. I think upstream will add these files for the next release.

Will fix it.
Fixed in CVS as networkmanager-0.8.2-r5.
