Hi I'm a kde-bluetooth developer (I've done the obex-client and various libs) and an happy gentoo user. 2 month ago I'd already sent a request to add kde-bluetooth to the gentoo portage tree but there was no response :-((( If you'll add it we can have more people that try it and send issues and we can improve it. I know that kde-bluetooth is a young project but you already have gnome-bluetooth already inserted in the tree. and if you try kde-bluetooth you'll see that it has more features, more programs and it's growing fast!!! We release weekly cvs snapshot that you can find on http://www.stud.uni-karlsruhe.de/~uddw/kdebluetooth/ but the better way to get it is the CVS repository. For more info take a look to the kde-bluetooth homepage: http://kde-bluetooth.sourceforge.net/ If you need more info let me know, we can put the snapshot on sourceforge if you prefer this than the above link. Thanks for your patience. Simone Gotti. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Please add this to portage. It's absolutely superb, and deserves more attention. All I need now is something to Sync my t610 with Mozilla Calendar. Cloney
If someone wants to submit an ebuild I'd be happy to try it out. I don't have any wireless stuff, so it's a bit difficult for me to just create a build for it.
Hi! You can find an ebuild at http://kde-bluetooth.sourceforge.net/html/download.html Bye! And thanks!!!
You got it. Now in portage.
Thanks a LOT!!! If you're OK when we have new releases I'll send a request. Bye!
yep, that's just fine.
