Description Benj FitzPatrick 2011-01-30 19:30:09 UTC
When ripping an audio cd the first track gets mangled (it's length is less than 100 bytes) when the naming scheme is changed. More specifically, this problem occurs when the ripping order is changed. The default naming is %A - %T/%n - !a='%A'{%a - }%t, and when I get rid of %n the ripping order changes from the track order to alphabetical. This problem is present with all audio format. I can go back and select only the first track and then it rips properly.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to "tools" -> "rip audio cd"
2.click "start ripping"
3.remove "%n" from "file naming pattern"
4.click "start ripping"

Actual Results:
Track #1 is not ripped properly (it is less than 100 bytes), but all other tracks are ripped correctly.

Expected Results:
All audio tracks should rip completely.

Please attach the output of emerge --info
It probably makes sense to report this at bugs.kde.org and link to the bug report here; I dont really see what we as packagers can do...
