after the last world update "ufed-0.34" don't handel shortcuts anymore to jump
alphabetically through the flags just by pressing the character

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge ufed-0.34
2. start ufed
3. try to use the keys

Actual Results:  
have to scroll trough the flags instead of jumping

Expected Results:  
by pressing an alpha key the selection have to jump to the first flags with
starts with this alpha

in earlier versions keys worked

The bug is actually in dialog-0.9b-20031002, dialog-0.9b-20030308 works correctly.  

There is a later version of dialog available that I will be checking, however the changelog does not mention anything having to do with searching so I am not optimistic.
