The /etc/init.d/fancontrol script dies on every bootup regardless of the runlevel it is started from. Starting the script manually never fails, only starts from openrc fail. I added "--interpreted" to the start-stop-daemon options which seems to fix the issue. Reproducible: Always
Addition: Adding "--interpreted" to the start script fixed it once, but now it's back to not working.
I also tried running just "/usr/sbin/fancontrol" from /etc/init.d/local and it also fails.
Still valid with 3.3.1?
