Does the file /var/db/pkg/sys-devel/libperl-5.10.1/USE exist? The only way I can image the file not being there is some sort of corruption of the database in /var/db/pkg. Reinstalling libperl should bring the file back and fix your error. If it still doesn't work, provide emerge --info

Hi Seb,

Thx for taking in charge.

The reinstall / purge of Libperl did'nt help in any way. The "USE" file is there, and is not empty.

# ls -l /var/db/pkg/sys-devel/libperl-5.10.1/USE
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 53 21 janv. 01:52 /var/db/pkg/sys-devel/libperl-5.10.1/USE
# cat /var/db/pkg/sys-devel/libperl-5.10.1/USE
amd64 elibc_glibc kernel_linux multilib userland_GNU

The emerge --info :
# emerge --info

Comment 4 Torsten Veller (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-01-25 21:21:58 UTC
Can we remove net-analyzer/centreon?

- The HOMEPAGE is wrong.
- Centreon 2.1.10 STABLE 26/11/2010
- hollow removed himself from metadata.

To fix this bug, removing
| confutils_require_built_with_all sys-devel/libperl ithreads
should be enough.
Comment 5 Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2011-10-11 14:17:18 UTC
Closing as CANTFIX, the package is not any more in the main tree.
