Description basti 2011-01-24 15:50:51 UTC
like i said in the summary, this file is no longer on any gentoo mirror.

this has already been recognized on http://dev.gentoo.org/~zmedico/infra/distfiles/failure.xml

so... where are the patches? they are obviously needed, as the arpack96.tar.gz contains the vanilla sources from the project's homepage (http://www.caam.rice.edu/software/ARPACK/)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge arpack
2.
3.

Actual Results:
emerge fails with "Couldn't download 'arpack-96-patches.tar.bz2'. Aborting."

Expected Results:
the arpack library is actually emerged and ready to be fed with a bunch of eigenvalue problems.

Looks like something was messed up in a commit from 2 days ago: http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo-x86/sci-libs/arpack/Manifest?r1=1.27&r2=1.28

Hard to say what happened. Maybe it wasn't uploaded.

should be fixed now. please re-emerge in a few hours when it hits the mirrors.
