Everytime my Gnome starts with low resolution. My xorg.conf's subsection "Display" is set to (only) 1280x800 mode. But it still starting with 1024x780 pixels. Always I have to fix it manually Reproducible: Always Actual Results: Gnome starts with 1024x780 screen resolution. Expected Results: Start Gnome with 1280x800 screen resolution. Do you use any display manager? (gdm, kdm...) How is resolution on them before you login in gnome? How does it behave on a new created user account with a "fresh" home?

I've created other user, I'll reboot the system and try it. Thanks
