tcl and tk are in the dependencies of many applications, however trying to emerge them fails with a "no route to host". The ebuilds should be corrected to point to a valid URL for wget.

ftp.scriptics.com which is the only source in the ebuild resolves (so, not a dns problem) but seems off-line

the sf.net mirror should be added to the ebuild :
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=10894
(with the mirror:// URL thingy)

anyway tcl 8.4.5 is out since 2003-11-24, 8.4.4 in portage
so perhaps this FTP is overwhelmed
