But I have absoloutely no idea how it should read in the SRC_URI since portage thinks we're talking about 2 different files because of the whitespace.....
Well, depending on the size of the download, we would probably maintain our own Gentoo mirror of the file with a modified filename. That is, unless SpanKY can think of a better way to do it. He is the Q3 expert, after all.
Yeah, having a copy of the file without the whitespace on the distfiles mirrors sound good, but can anyone conform that Portage can't handle whitespace in SRC_URI links somwhow?
