Maven 3.0.x is much improved and works fine; I'm using it daily "in production". The slotted ebuild needs a few fixes.

A friend of mine and I have been using this ebuild for some time now. The only annoyance is the fixed download URL; I haven't figured out a good way to rewrite the download URL yet.
