While bumping cairo to version 1.10.2 the patch cairo-1.10.0-buggy_gradients.patch was dropped. And it is not integrated into cairo 1.10.2 by the upstream developers. But without this patch the cairo performance is bad and there were some rendering problems with my nvidia card. See Gentoo Bug #336696. I think we should readd it to the cairo 1.10.2 ebuild.
