As per comment on chm2pdf wiki located here at http://code.google.com/p/chm2pdf/wiki/HowToUse , the --enable-examples configure flag is required for chmlib to install necessary dependencies to chmlib. Emerging chmlib with "examples" useflag fixes the issue. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. USE="-examples" emerge -1 dev-libs/chmlib 2. emerge chm2pdf 3. chm2pdf --book document.chm document.pdf Actual Results: sh: enum_chmLib : commande not found Something wrong happened when launching htmldoc. exit value: 256 Check if output exists or if it is good.
