After upgrading to perl 5.12.2 all script using Class:Virtual emits a warning:
Class::ISA will be removed from the Perl core distribution in the next major release. Please install it from CPAN. It is being used at /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.12.2/Class/Virtual.pm, line 9.

After emerge -va perl-core/Class-ISA warning fades.
