Description Sergey S. Starikoff 2011-01-06 17:52:24 UTC
Trying to convert two different text pdf file ends first with segmentation fault and second with exit 1. Both times no .abw-file was written.

Trying to convert graphical pdf-file shows several lines:
"No child nodesNo child nodesNo seperators"
in stderr. Only root container is written in output file.

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
I've expected (hope to see) moved from text pdf format into editable abw-format text with formatting and indentions.

Or, at least, exclude from app-text/poppler inoperable binary.

Am I to attach example problem pdf files?

I can confirm said issue.
It can be either:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org//show_bug.cgi?id=10539
or
https://bugs.freedesktop.org//show_bug.cgi?id=18030
or (most likely)
https://bugs.freedesktop.org//show_bug.cgi?id=23074

From upstream:

pdftoabw was just removed from poppler as it was unmaintained so this won't be
fixed. Sorry. If you were using it, this is the moment to step up and be its
maintainer.
