I have "doc" USE flag set in my /etc/make.conf, so it's built for everything by default. dbus-glib-0.88 build fails if flag is set, succeeds with "-doc" in /etc/portage/package.use. Full logs of both failing and succeeding builds available on request, relevant failing snippet included as attachment. Note that I'm still using gcc-4.3.4. I don't think that's the source of the problem here, but if it is, my apologies.
