In section 15 under listing 15.1 the warning should say something along these lines (the way it is written right now I would interpet it that /boot is NOT mounted while the system boots):

Please notice that /boot is mounted only while the system loads and will be unmounted once the boot process is completed. If you need to access /boot, please mount it!!

/boot is never mounted, where do you get that idea from?
