I upgraded to KDE 4.4.9 yesterday and found things similar to this in nearly all logfiles of the affected 12 packages : >>> Unpacking source... ^[[32;01m*^[[0m Unpacking parts of kdepim-4.4.9.tar.bz2 to /var/tmp/portage/kde-base/kdepim-kresources-4.4.9/work ... tar: kdepim-4.4.9/ConfigureChecks.cmake: Not found in archive tar: kdepim-4.4.9/config.h.cmake: Not found in archive tar: kdepim-4.4.9/AUTHORS: Not found in archive tar: kdepim-4.4.9/INSTALL: Not found in archive tar: kdepim-4.4.9/NEWS: Not found in archive tar: kdepim-4.4.9/ChangeLog: Not found in archive tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors ^[[33;01m*^[[0m tar extract command failed at least partially - continuing anyway. Do I miss something ? Reproducible: Always
KDE eclass is just more verbose to warnings now, nothing is broken
