is the test failing because it does not have internet access of just because the code is bad ? We need to disable networked tests in testsuite because they can't run in all environments.

I just can say that the box has internet access and the first two subtests pass, so I assume that internet access is not reason for the failure.

If you can give me instructions how to triage the failure, I am happy to test.
Comment 4 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2011-01-04 20:49:22 UTC
If we are willing to disable tests requiring network, we will probably need to check a lot of them, the problem is that I don't know what exact tests requires it (grepping "WebKitNetworkRequest" would be enough?)
Comment 5 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2011-01-04 22:00:09 UTC
tests pass for me with 1.2.6, is this still an issue for you?

They pass for me as well.
Comment 7 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-01-11 09:42:52 UTC
After checking the test code, it seems it is trying to open http://gnome.org, we need to disable this test.
Comment 8 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2011-01-11 11:38:22 UTC
ok, after building 1.2.6 with network disabled, it didn't seem to cause any problem, I guess we can close this report as fixed then. Thanks for reporting.
