One or more bugs referring to gcc-config state that they are fixed in 1.5; however, 1.5 is currently hard-masked. It was added to the tree about a year ago (December 2009) and seems to not have had any activity since then. i dont think this is a useful bug
How is this not useful? 1.4.1 is the latest version available without a keyword. Do we tell everyone that wants to use gcc-config-1.5 that they have to add the line sys-devel/gcc-config ** to /etc/portage/package.keywords? $ eix gcc-config [I] sys-devel/gcc-config Available versions: 1.3.16 1.4.0-r4 1.4.1 **1.5 Installed versions: 1.4.1(12:26:31 PM 11/07/2010) Homepage: http://www.gentoo.org/ Description: Utility to change the gcc compiler being used
Look at gcc-config-1.5.ebuild. The KEYWORDS line is commented out. All I'm asking is that the ebuild be fixed in the tree to uncomment the KEYWORDS line.
i'll do it when i get around to it. an open bug wont make any difference.
should be in ~arch now
