Description Reflex Networks 2010-12-28 17:43:09 UTC
Configuring hddtemp after initial emerge via the displayed 'emerge --config =app-admin/hddtemp-0.3_beta15-r3' will replace /usr/share/hddtemp/hddtemp.db with a dump of the OVH mail login page.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge hddtemp
2. emerge --config =app-admin/hddtemp-0.3_beta15-r3
3. run hddtemp: hddtemp /dev/sda

Actual Results:
ERROR: syntax error at line 1 in /usr/share/hddtemp/hddtemp.db

Expected Results:
/dev/sda: SAMSUNG SP2504C: 27 C

/usr/portage/app-admin/hddtemp/hddtemp-0.3_beta15-r3.ebuild contains the non-functional download URL http://www.guzu.net/linux/hddtemp.db, which redirects to OVH default page.

Seems fixed in unstable hddtemp-0.3_beta15-r4.ebuild by the new update-hddtemp.db

It seems like it was a temporary fluke with guzu.net. The URL works just fine now.
