Description Alberto Casari 2010-12-27 15:43:48 UTC
After updated to new xorg-1.9, in '/var/log/Xorg.0.log'
appeared a: '/usr/lib/dri/mga_dri.so: no such file or directory'

I have a Matrox G400 board and I re-added this line to ebuild
(under 'classic' USE flag):
driver_enable video_cards_mga mga # mga line disappeared from ebuild
Now it's all fine

The Changelog doesn't say anything about removing/deprecation
of mga-r128 dri(hope this is only an oversight)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Emerge >=media-libs/mesa-7.9

Actual Results:
In '/var/log/Xorg.0.log' now there's a(mga example):
'/usr/lib/dri/mga_dri.so: no such file or directory'

Expected Results:
'/var/log/Xorg.0.log' without error line

Same here. mga_dri is still in SuSE and Arch with mesa 7.9.

This was an oversight in mesa-7.9, it is fixed in mesa-7.10 now.
