Description Yoan Blanc 2010-12-24 21:05:05 UTC
It seems that every versions of the Broadcom drivers aren't available anymore on broadcom.com, would it be possible to have an ebuild for the latest one? I'll try to one myself.

Regards,

The gentoo doc has some informations about ebuilds, this is the no explainations walk-through:

# cd /usr/portage/net-wireless/broadcom-sta
# wget http://bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=258047 -O broadcom-sta-5.100.82.38.ebuild
# wget http://bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=258049 -O files/broadcom-sta-5.100.82.38-gcc.patch
# ebuild broadcom-sta-5.100.82.38.ebuild digest
# echo net-wireless/broadcom-sta ~* >> /etc/portage/packages.keyword
# emerge broadcom-sta-5.100.82.38.ebuild
