TeamSpeak is proprietary Voice over IP software that allows users to speak on a chat channel with other users, much like a telephone conference call. A TeamSpeak user will often wear a headset with an integrated microphone. Users use the TeamSpeak client software to connect to a TeamSpeak server of their choice, from there they can join chat channels. The target audience for TeamSpeak is gamers, who can use the software to communicate with other players on the same team of a multiplayer game. Communicating by voice gives a competitive advantage by allowing players to keep their hands on the controls.

Can you change the title of this bug report to the version bump requested?
(In reply to comment #10) > Can you change the title of this bug report to the version bump requested? I suppose the last version is requested, but it is not the same for server (3.0.5) and client (3.0.6). More important is we are approaching the 1st anniversary of the last update (rc1 has been released on 23 May 2011). A lot of bugs have been fixed since then. IMHO this package definitely needs new maintainer...

Removed ancient version. + Alright guys, here you have the latest client. But I won't touch the server package as I neither have the time for reliable testings nor do I have the necessary ressources.

For this change to happen please open a new enhacement bug in our tracker and be as informative as possible. For example add to the bug where you got the language files from and please help us developers with adding unified patches to show the changes you did to the ebuild(s). Tarballs are too complicated to handle when it comes to reviewing any ebuild changes.
