Description Hans de Graaff gentoo-dev Security 2010-12-22 07:21:33 UTC
Please keyword and stabilize =dev-ruby/rubygems 1.3.7 ASAP, since the stable tree is currently broken for you. Any stable package using the new ruby-ng or ruby-fakegem eclasses cannot satisfy a rubygems dependency. As far as I can tell this problem was already present in the tree, but it has now become obvious to repoman because I removed the intermediate virtual/rubygems package.

My suggestion would be to mark =dev-ruby/rubygems-1.3.7 straight to stable. rubygems only contains ruby code and you have other versions already keyworded so I don't expect platform-specific issues here.

~ # emerge -NuDa world

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!

emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "<=dev-ruby/rubygems-1.3.7-r1".
(dependency required by "dev-ruby/rack-1.0.1" [installed])
(dependency required by "www-servers/nginx-0.8.53-r1" [installed])
(dependency required by "@world" [argument])
