With toolchain in less degree supporting <sys-devel/gcc-4, and portage having more and more stuff not compiling with <sys-devel/gcc-4 it may be time to start the stabilizing process for a app-emulation/qemu that builds and runs on a modern GCC version.

I propose this bug to be a tracker of things needed to be fixed for said purpose to be fulfilled.

i see amd64/x86 with qemu-0.11.1 stable
