There is a broken dependency and (or) wrong slot reference in the gnome overlay. There is no slot "3.0" for webkit-gtk that prevents "emerge -vuD --reinstall changed-use world" Portage does not have any slotted webkit-gtk-1.3.x Also, why portage does not skip it and update the rest of my system? I can confirm this: emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy ">=net-libs/webkit-gtk-1.3.2:3.0". installed: [ebuild R ] net-libs/webkit-gtk-1.3.7-r1
After editing and removing that nonsense slot 3 definition for net-libs/webkit-gtk from gnome-extra/yelp-2.31.7.ebuild in gnome overlay, everything works fine.
Of course I mean I fixed it temporarily in my local (layman) copy of gnome-overlay. I hope someone will fix it in the real gnome-overlay.
