Description Adam Bolte 2003-12-01 15:47:09 UTC
Details have been covered <a href="http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=111062&highlight=americasarmy200">here</a>.

The game simply will not install the newest version (althought the previous version worked just fine.

The forum mentioned above suggests disk space as a possible problem. My Gentoo HDDs:

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/ataraid/disc0/part2
                      380M   61M  300M  17% /
/dev/ataraid/disc0/part5
                      1.9G   38M  1.8G   3% /tmp
/dev/ataraid/disc0/part6
                       21G  4.3G   16G  22% /var
/dev/ataraid/disc0/part7
                       16G  7.7G  7.4G  52% /opt
/dev/ataraid/disc0/part8
                       57G   25G   30G  46% /usr
/dev/ataraid/disc0/part9
                      124G  101G   18G  85% /home
none                  442M     0  442M   0% /dev/shm

Plenty of space.

The complete error I get is:
psychoreactor root # emerge -u --deep world
Calculating world dependencies ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 4) games-fps/americas-army-200 to /
>>> md5 src_uri ;-) armyops200-lnx.run

Finally, 'emerge info' resluts:
