Description Kunalagon Umuhanik 2010-12-12 09:27:45 UTC
Hello,
Whenever I try to do(apply) some root tasks in systemsettings, I get this error: unable to authenticate/execute the action: (code 3). First, when I hit APPLY button, nothing happends, and when I click CLOSE or choose some other conf menu, it ask me do I wish to applu, or cancel, I click APPLY and I close window, then I get an mentioned error: unable to authenticate/execute the action: (code 3).
Is this maybe ralted with dbus?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start kde's systemsettings
2.change some of root depended settings, like date/time, autologin...
3.apply, and close systemsettings

Please put a category/package in the Summary, put the output of `emerge --info' in a comment, and please don't let yourself get confused by our Product/Component set - all of them are described rather well on the page where you chose them or through a hyperlink to another page with their descriptions, and choosing Admin/Mailinglists could never have been what you intended. So that's two things you can do now. Reopen this bug report when you're done.
