Comment 2 Michael Weber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2010-12-11 22:47:55 UTC
Hello,

can you please run `lafilefixer --justfixit` from dev-util/lafilefixer and retry?

Thanks
Comment 3 LuVar 2010-12-12 00:25:00 UTC
I had emerged that woodoo program and I had started "lafilefixer --justfixit". It had done some work and after it command "emerge transcode" worked.

From my point of view, is this ticket resolved. I dont know what are *.la files, nor whot is lafilefixer program (no man page for it), but it is working now (emerge process for transcode).

Thanks, have a nice rest of weekend.

you can also run revdep-rebuild too; its a gcc upgrade that messed the .la files -> worksforme
