Description Phil Bordelon (sunflare) 2002-06-07 10:14:03 UTC
With most screenhacks, xscreensaver-4.04.2-r1 works fine. However, if you start
an OpenGL one up, you get this error on your screen:
--
(process:<pid>): Glib-GObject-CRITICAL **:
gtype.c:1807:g_type_register_static(): initialization assertion failed, use
g_type_init prior to
(process:<pid>): Glib-Gobject-CRITICAL **: file gobject.c: line 587
(gobject_new): assertion `G_TYPE_IS_OBJECT (object_type)' failed
xscreensaver: <date-timestamp>: 0: child pid <pid> (<hack>) terminated with SIGSEGV.
--

Apologies for any typos--this appears on the graphics screen, so I had to type
it in by hand.

it was my fault. I removed an '&&' from the ebuild in the last revision -r2
should behave better I think.
