Please paste logs with an english locale - most devs speak english whilst only a few speak other languages. I suspect this is a dupe of bug 347599. KDE is very fragile about gcc version, so all of KDE and Qt must be built with the same gcc version.
Thank you for your reply, your remark is correct, this is "kind of a dupe" of bug 347599. However, it was not gcc that caused my trouble, as I always do "emerge -e world" after a gcc switch. Here, it was something different: Bug 347599 mentiones, that qt-gui has to be recompiled if one changes gcc. Okay, no problem, I tested that nevertheless, and tadaa... it failed here with the same error mentioned in the report, a behavior mentioned in another bug report, http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=347603. Okay... what caused all the trouble: Some days ago, I switched to the x11-overlay and fiddeled around with libX11, especially with the live-ebuild libX11-9999 (for my radeon card and KMS). It seems that some interface change in libX11 caused all my problems... I downgraded to libX11-1.4.0, then qt-gui emerged flawlessly, and finally kdelibs-4.5.4 compiled :-D Conclusion: Do not use the libX11-9999 live-ebuild in the moment! Bug can be closed, thank you!
