netqmail is the 'official' qmail-1.04 release.  Perhaps it would make the
qmail's maintainer's life easier if you used it.  Just a thought in case you've
never heard of it.

I've heard of it, however I'm strongly inclined not to use it for several reasons:
- the 0.0.0.0 bug patch they have has a newer version which we use instead.
- We have all the patches it does, and more.

I am however going to borrow some of their patch, primarily these two items:
20031027 doc: qmail-queue.8 adds explanation of $QMAILQUEUE
20031027 doc: qmail-log.5 adds reference to errors from $QMAILQUEUE script

additionally, I'm going to follow their example and re-brand the output from SMTP help.

These two items are now in -r14, which is hardmasked for my preliminary testing.
