After emerging net-wireless/acx, compiled module can't loaded by 'modprobe acx'.

#modprobe acx
FATAL: Error inserting acx (/lib/modules/2.6.36-gentoo-r3/net/acx.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

Output from dmesg:

What is the latest kernel that used to work with this module?

I'm using this module first time. At first, I tried to use this module with 2.6.36-gentoo, but it doesn't compiled at all.

wild guess, but maybe this driver is in now in kernel so the module is not valid anymore

No, this module not in kernel now. This module was dropped from kernel sources due to maintainer absence. Some interesting info in Bug 297076.
