I ran into this bug when trying to compile brlcad after switching to GCC-4.5.1.
The error message is: "iwidgets was disabled, yet no usable iwidgets system package was found."

Quick Workaround: rebuild dev-lang/tcl with -O0 instead of -O1 or higher.

If this doesn't work for you and you're positive you have the same problem as in the referenced bug, please reopen.
