Description Dan Naumov 2002-06-07 05:03:09 UTC
After succesfully merging x11-misc/gkrellm-volume and enabling the plugin under
gkrellm's Configuration / Plugins, the plugin is not displayed. Changing the
"place" of the plugin doesn't help either.

Using:

x11-misc/gkrellm-volume-0.8-r1
app-admin/gkrellm-1.2.11

did you select which components you want displayed?
Comment 2 Dan Naumov 2002-06-07 10:10:25 UTC
I merge the plugin, started gkrellm, went to Configuration / Plugins, selected
the appropriate plugin from the list and clicked on the "enable" checkbox.
Nothing happened. I tried clicking on "Place" hoping that changing of the plugin
placement would make it appear, but it didn't help. The plugin was still not
displayed.

OK, please try this: in the Configuration/Plugins menu, you'll see a list of
plugins (not the enable/disable list). Click on the Volume Plugin item, and
you'll see that you have to actually enable different mixers. I'm closing this
bug, because it's not a bug, it's user error (no offense).
