I don't know if this is the right place, but... I successful emerged the samba 3 in a alpha station using ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86". There isn't any special patch, and the plain Samba works fine in Alpha's. The compilation works fine and I have tested it for almost one day, and so far, so good. So, I suggest the inclusion of the ~alpha in the package. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge samba Actual Results: Compilation OK Regular use OK Expected Results: N.A. Using a "miata" workstation, with EV56, no special flags and samba emerge without ldap and acl.
