Skencil has been revitalized with the help of the sk1 team. A new version 1.0_alpha is available from the Skencil page of sK1 Project website (see URL). It mainly fixes the Tk 8.5/8.6 issue. I have compiled it directly and tested it on my gentoo laptop. It works fine. But unfortunately I'm not a dev at all. (I should learn)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install skencil-0.6.18_pre20080519
2. start skencil
Actual Results:  
skencil crash because of Tk-8.5

Expected Results:  
skencil-1.0_alpha runs fine
